In past times, these rocks were enveloped in a thick layer of mystery; legends and folktales tried to rationalize their existence as evidence of trolls, giants and other magical phenomena. The arrival/onslaught of modern scientific studies banished their veil of enigma.
With the experience of the covers in mind, boulders become hidden when they are enveloped in plastic layers, making them visible and restoring the mystery to a greater extent.
This also represents a change in the artistic research, moving from a conventional photographic stance of observing and documenting, towards a more responsibility in the creation of the artwork.
